Subject: photos specifications(PPR)
  for those who got PPR,

i have question about photos. in the photo specifications came along with PPR, it says there should be "no staple holes, stamps, etc on the picture." does it mean there shouldn´t be anythnig on the back of photos? photographers usually put a date stamp on the back of photo to prove when the photos are takeden.

can anyone give clarifications about this???

thanks.

Add to your question: does one have to write name and birthday on the back of the photos?

Guys:
The PPR letter never asked to write your name and date-of-birth, hence it will be optional. If you think, it is safer giving Buffalo that info. please go ahead, it will not cause any problem, but again it is only optional, if not they would have explicitly stated that in the letter.

Make sure the pictures are to the specifications as explained in the letter, put them in an envelope and mail them out. In my case, I put my photos in an envelope and paper-clipped it to the passport. Yeah, the photostudio guy stamped the date on the back of the pictures.

Don´t worry...it will all be good. You came this far, I´m sure you can figure this one too...

I put nothing on the back of the photo and had no problem getting the visa. I guess at this point they are able to keep the photos categorized.

Hi Joe05:

I send in my PP on the 9th, but I haven´t received ´em yet. From other posts on this forum, it seems like it takes about 10 days for the PP to return (via express mail). Hopefully by the end of this week, I should get them back.
