| Subject: US Grren Card Holder Visiting Canada |

Hi All
One of my close relatives just came to US and have GC. He lives in Detroit, USA.He is very home sick and needs some homely atmosphere. My family and I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Just 6 miles away from my relative´s place in Detroit, USA. My question is does anybody on this forum have idea that how often he can visit me in Canada ? Is every weekend visit fine? People living near border towns might have some idea. Please help.

Every weekend is fine. As long as he doesn´t spent more time in Canada than in US he will be OK. Even 3 days a week should satisfy the non-canadian residency requirements. Have, if requested,proofs of residence in US other than GC (bills, rent, etc). Nice weekends with your friend!
