My interview date is June - 08, 2006 in Buffalo. How long does it take them to make the decision after the interview. Somebody told me that they would give me their final decision on the same day if everything is clear and I´m good to go. While some other say I would still have to wait a couple of months to hear from them. Does anybody have idea about this?

Could you share your time line, please?
I think the answer on your question is contained in operational manual for visa officers. Try to look at it at the CIC website. Basically, it could be both: same day decision and further clarification or 30-day time for you to respond to their concerns, if they have any.
Have you done IELTS?
Where from did you apply?US or Canada?

Hey there U.K. When did you get your IA? I´m waiting for an Interview in Buffalo too. I just wanted to know how long it takes to get an Interview.
