| Subject: Owning certain property |
I read that "certain property in Canada can only be owned by a Canadian citizen". 1) In which situations will this be the case? 2) Will it make any difference if I´m an American citizen?

Both Canada and US do allow to have double citizenship, therefore you can be American and Canadian at the same time. In fact Canada offers multi citizenships as well as long as it complies with other countries.
Having said that, you can become Canadian and then own in Canada yet remain American at the same time.

Hello all,
I am a canadian citizen by birth and my mom is portugese so I want to apply for double-citizenship for Europe and Canada at the same time. Do anyonw know a web site I consult for that? Or a phone #?
PLUS, I was wondering would it be possible to be a canadian, european, american and australian citizen all at once? How many citizenships are possible?
