| Subject: Do you have to send FBI clearence paperwork?? |

Hi, I´m immigrating to Canada. Somehow, my husband and I misunderstood the police clearence thing and I just got clearence from the state I lived in (PA). I finally have everything together, just not FBI clearance. Is this something I have to send with the packet, or can I send it later, like the doctor´s appt stuff?

Hi, I live in Pa. too. You need to send the FBI police certificate with your application and you might have to re-do (update it) again when they send you your medical forms.

Hmm..what do you mean? I´m a little worried, because I already went and had my doctor´s appointment and they´re going to send the paperwork when all of my results are in, and the clearance won´t be done by then. I´ll have to re-do it when they get my paperwork?
Maybe I can get the clinic to release that to me.

regarding the medicals:
From what I know medicals results are valid for 1 year. if you are not able to land before medicals expire then they may ask you to do medicals one more time.

Apply for fbi clearance immediately; send ur state police certificate to CHC along with the information that u have applied for FBI clearance and are waiting for the results.

Yes savon they asked for the FBI clearance a second time when I got the IA. They said they needed it to update the file.
