To all Quebec Applicants...
How long did it take each of you to get your CSQ? Did you apply from within Canada? I am planning on applying from Montreal. I am in the US and will be leaving to study in Montreal next month. Any advice on the CSQ? How soon after landing in Montreal can I apply for the CSQ. I don´t know any French but have enrolled in a French language school in Montreal with plans to do an MBA after that.
I really appreciate your help!

you should go to quebec immigration website to assess yourself. its easy. knowing french is important cuz you get more points for french than english. if you do show your interest in learning french by going to a french school, that would also help your case. but if you have the education, alongwith the work experience (especially for jobs in demand in quebec), plus french.. that should put you through.

Oh! I forgot to add. I did do the assessment on the website and it said I qualify for the CSQ.

it depends to which office your applying, New York office is usually fast (6-10 months) and if no interview is needed (if you score 60 or more without the 10 points of interview) then it will be even faster.

hello everybody,
I have applied for CSQ FROM montreal.
I am student in Montreal.I have received file no. from CSQ office in Montreal.on 28 november 2006
so I am expecting interview within next few months
ANYBODY WHO HAVE GONE THROUTH THIS PROCESSS SO CAN YOU HELP ME IN MY INTERVIEW PREPARATION??
anybody who done this student in montreal and CSQ INTERVIEW faced in Montreal can give me some tips what they expect regarding French knowledge,education,experience I mean what should I be prepared for?
I will appreciate any suggestion from anybody.
