Hi there
Just looking for an advice. I have my fiance living in SriLanka, I would like to know whether I can sponsor her. Please let me know if there is anything else I have to do.

CIC has taken away the fiance class of visa. (USA still has it). Instead they require you to sponsor your fiance as a congugal partner. You must show a year of relationship history, and either have married them or lived with them. You must convince them that the relationship is legitimate. After the year, you can sponsor them and it takes about 6-9 months for their documents to be complete. I think I have it all straight. good luck
