Hi guys,
I had my interview on the 22nd at Abu Dhabi......The interview was disappointing in the sense that the visa officer said that my diplomas are not from universities in their database. The visa officer asked me to get a letter from my institute showing that they have some approval to show....I am from India and i did my diploma at an institute and the diplomas are widely accepted in India and this institute has many branches all over India.....Now currently i am working for a reputed organizaiton in Oman for the past 8 years. In india these institutes are not run by govt. I called up the institute and they said they will give me a letter stating their profile and that they are ISO certified institute. I have 90 days to submit the above letter along with my PCC from Oman. Does anyone this this letter would suffice to what the visa officer is expecting.......We are very much disappointed, cause till now everything was going well and suddenly unexpectedly hearing such a thing......Do you think i should submit anything else along with the letter to satisfy the visa officer better.....please please, any kind inputs will be highly appreciated......

do ask some consultant in ur city, if he has got some info which can solve ur problem

Consider visiting WES.org
They evaluate your educational credentials and give their canadian equivalent. But they will take atleast 10-25 days to revert with the report.
Don´t know whether it will help you or not, but thats all i knew.

Lucky please keep a faith in God. dont lose heart there would be thousand of people have studied from the private good and reputable institutions,
what I feel may be credential assessment would help you. I have done recently from ICAS their web site is

its immediate service they will send you one copy by fax with in 7 days and by mail with in 10 to 12 days.
they have record of all most all universities world wide, and they assess the credential, this would be the plus point and secondly your institution´s recommanded letter would be certainly be the answer of CIC requirment.

you can ask the phone number of this lawyer by calling to kahleej times news paper office,
other wise i have personally experienced, few of the middle east based lawyers hardly had any info, they are running their business only fooling the people.

Hi,
What you need to do is simply get your certificates attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, and Ministry of Education in India.
What that does is a certificate from Indian Govt. recognizing your qualification. Next attatch the ISO certification and send information about ISO certification and send it all.
However, I´m not sure all can be done in 90 days unless someone can run around for you in Delhi.

ash, thanks for the inputs. i will definetely do the attestation as u suggested. well i will have to travel to Delhi to get all these done. My Diploma is from Jetking School of Electronic Technology.
