Subject: Stages of PR application |

1) AOR= Acknowledgment receipt: A small prick to check whether you can tolerate pain
2) IA= Initial assessment: to check if after a long wait you are still alive
3) Medical request: To get the doctor?s report on wears and tears your body has gone through during the long wait.
4) Additional documents: To check your mental capability, whether you are still in your senses and you can send them the right documents.
5) Final decision= rejected, accepted/PPR (passport resquest): this stage comes when you are completely frustrated and have forgotten about PR application.
I have tried to explain most commonly used acronyms and their definitions. Please feel free to add if I have missed any.
