Hi all
Good news from 2006,i got a letter stating to get my passport stamped.Regarding that i am happy after a wait of nearely 2years+
I have query to u people
1.In my letter what i have received stating that i can go in person to get stamped or send it by post. i have query
a.If i go in person can i get it stamped on the same day ? (why am i asking is that in this forum some guys had gone in person to get it done,)
is it is possible in london cic.
2.once i get my visa , is there any date will be mentioned to enter canada.
3. once i enter canada how long i can stay there before i comeback(as i have job contract to finish here) and also qualify for canadian PR.
4. if i enter canada & dont go back , how long should i stay to get the canadain PR.
5. question 3 & 4 means that whether i have to stay there for some time or can i go and come back till some time,till i been qualified for canadain pr.
anyway guys/gals i am happy regarding this and also great support from this forum to keep my nerve for 2 years,even though i was not actively praticipating in this forum,i have been a silent reader.

congrats!
your visa will have an expiray date which is normally the same as the expiry date of your medical test (1 year).
once you land you will become PR even if you leave same day, you can then either apply for your PR card or go back home, and wait for your PR cards until you go to Canada again.
if you choose to apply for PR it takes 4-6 weeks to be processed.
the only obligation a PR has in order to keep his/her status is You must accumulate two years of physical presence in Canada in every five-year period.

So, once you get your Visa, you are allowed to travel the same day if you want?
