| Subject: regarding file transfer for AOR MARCH |

hi all, I applied on Dec 2004 and received AOR Mar 17, 2005. Like everybody else my file has been transferred to Detroit to expedite the process.
i am wondering buffalo transferred my file to Detroit because they think i need an interview or its just to accelerate the process.
what u think guys when we can get expect our IA ? Will it more delay as new office will our file from beginning.
i am quite frustrated and guessing i have to face an interview !

The CIC in the US seems to have a new procedure now, so they are transfering most of their files to the other CIC offices in the US, like Detroit, Seattle, LA and NY. After they transfer it, they´ll decide if you get an interview or not, but the fact of having your file transfer doens´t mean that you will. It´s just to complete your IA.
I read somewhere that they will tranfer the files that they received after December 2004, and they´ll keep the files they got before December 2004, but that I can´t be sure about.

Shawn. I don´t really know the answer to that question but, I would think that you´d probably get it in the next couple months?
