Hello Friends
I have a kind of confusion & i will appreciate feedback
I have applied for PR in Nov 05 (skilled Category)& i got my file no in dec, I am on 1 year work permit in Canada, till June 06, I have applied through Buffalo, My question is If in june when my work permit expires & i go back to India, Will my file will be transferred to India or it will still be processed in Buffalo

File will be processed in USA. If you are called for an interview you will have to go to USA to attend it. If your application is accepted the PR visa will be issued by the Canadian consulate in USA.
Visa offices are not required to transfer applications for permanent or temporary residence to Canada upon the request of an applicant or their designated representative.
Visa offices should transfer files only if that transfer would enhance program integrity. Conversely, visa offices should refuse to transfer files if such a transfer diminishes program integrity.
