| Subject: TN Visa ! and work in US with PR from Canada |

Hi Experts,
If you get a PR from Canada, will you be eligible to work in US (as a full time employee with any firm)? I have heard that we need to get a TNVisa, is it similar to H1B?
Do a TNVisa holder and US Green Card holder share similar roles?
Please let me know your thoughts.

I need to be citizen of Canada to get TN visa. With PR card you need to get H1B

Absolutely right !!
Don´t want to discourage you but, Canadian PR does not mean a thing if you are planning to work across the border. You have to be a Canadian citizen, moreover I think you have to renew the TN visa every year, and I am not sure about the tax implications !

Thanks for the info.
I was in the impression that if we get Canadian PR, then we can work in US as an independent consultant.
How about travelling? Could you travel to any country(only in Europe??? or anywhere in the world ) with a Canadian PR and without the Country´s visa? or do we need to be a Canadian Citizen to travel ?

Canadian PR is only for Canada. Entry to anyother country depends on passport you are holding. Nothing will change after Canadain PR except you can live and work without any additional visa ONLY in Canada
