Canada no longer has the Fiance class visa. it was removed a few years ago. You will have to wait until your landed as a resident of Canada and then get married and sponsor them.

If you get married before you are landed you could lose it

You can get married the same day you land and become a resident. Then apply that same day!

it´s not that easy...

I don´t know where you guys are getting your info... but if you are on your family´s application for PR, you can´t just get married and bring him along.

There is no Fiance visa anymore.

you will need to land in canada, then get married, then you can sponsor him incanada or from outside canada. you can´t be in the philines and sponsor him tho, you MUST reside in canada.

either wait it will probably take around 6 months minimum.

www.cic.gc.ca go to the sponsor section. there you can see about sponsoring him inland (if he can get a visitor visa) or outside canada (can be faster for you)

goodluck!

Maan,

Once you are in Canada, ask him to apply for visitor´s visa. You provide him a letter stating strong reason why he is needed in canada. I am sure he will get it. Once he is in, marry him and add him in ur file. This is what I think! Other guys any say?

Hi Maan,

The most important thing right now is that you should NOT get married. Go to Canada so that you become a PR of Canada.

Once you become a PR you have the following options to get your fiance to Canada:

Option 1

Ask your fiance to apply for a visitor visa of Canada. If he gets the visa he can come to Canada and you can get married. After that you can sponsor him as your spouse from within Canada.

It can take 7 to 8 months for the application to be approved if you apply from within Canada. Your fiance will NOT be able to work till the application is complete.

Option 2

If your fiance does not get a visa of Canada then you can go to Philippines and get married there. After that you will have to come back to Canada alone. After coming back to Canada submit the application to sponsor your husband.

It can take 6 to 10 months for the application to be approved. Keep in mind that you will have to live in Canada till your husband´s application is approved.
