Subject: Job experience checking process
I live in Peru and unfortunately, 60% of the working class has neither job contracts nor payment checks. I am one of those.

I´m a engineer that has been managing a big restaurant for 5 years now. However my employer could gice me a letter of working for her. Would that be good enough for the canadian authorities? Is tehre another way I can proof I have been working for more than 5 years now?

Thanks. Every rply is welcome.

An Appointment or Reference letter from all the employers satisfies the requirement of canadain authorities.

simply I would provide whatever I can and then explain in a seprate letter the whole situation, but never ever lie on CIC, normally they are aware of the situation in your area and they will understand the lack of documents, they must have developed a techinque to do the check, they noremally send a letter or call your employer to check, otherwise they will call you for an interview.
good luck

Peruvian here !!! (in reply to: Job experience checking process)
Hi, Im peruvian too, and Im just started the process to obtain a visa as skilled worker. Do anyone have any experience about it?? Do I really need a job offer from Canada to start paperwork?? It is a good idea to be overqualifyed for a job in Canada (to improve the chances to get a job ,I think)??
I will preciate any responses. Thank you in advance and good luck to anyone.
