finding a job (in reply to: Plz help...........)
www.canadait.com is a site you might want to try but there is no perfect website. Finding a job is a challenge -even for Canadians. Who is hiring, what they want, matching skills, getting a chance for an interview... it is a process that takes time and patience. There is a fair bit of competition for tech jobs (it seems like 50% of our forum participants have IT training!) so it is important that your resume is exact, your english is good, and you give examples of what you can do. The biggest hurdle is having Canadian companies wanting Canadian experience. I do not have an answer for that.

The final thing you must do is to think about what you might be interested in doing for work if you cannot find IT work right away. Your settlement money will run out fast once you are here.

New site (in reply to: Plz help...........)
A new site url magnet.today scrapes from all the major job boards and pushes matches to you based on the profile you create. It is an initiative by Ryerson University and they´ve partnered with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to have employers from that network post jobs on the system. Likely it would be best (to increase odds of employer connecting) for that site if you have work authorization for Canada but still ok if not.

There´s a webinar on my site about ICT careers in Canada with two stellar companies http://www.gate21canada.com/resources.html which might be informative.
