Dear all,
I would first of all like to thank everyone who keeps this forum going and lively with accurate information, this is the only way we can keep each other informed and know cic´s trends.
Yes I got my PPR today. It took exactly 15 months. Applied in Canada, to buffalo, when i was a student and then left Canada. My time line was a little off from the others whop applied in September who got their IA in June, here it is below:
Applied on 27th September 2004
AOR January 13th 2005
IA September 28th 2005
Medicals sent November 22nd 2005
Other docs sent November 26th 2005
PPR 1st February 2006.

Where did you live HARDOWE and when did they send your PPR. Actually my PPR is ent on Jan 24th, and i havent received any thing yet. Can u give me an idea that how long did it take to reach the letter to you and what kind of mail they use. I mean regular, first clas or something else. Thanks and CONGRATULATIONS

Hi Steve:
I understand that you are bit worried about your PPR. Just to let you know that your PPR will come as a regular mail. It can take upto 3 weeks if you are in western Canada. I was too much worried when I didn´t get my PPR until two weeks. So I kept sending them emails. And finally, I received THREE PPRs, but none of them took less than 2 weeks. So hang in there.

Steve,
PPR takes anywhere between one week (my case) to 3 weeks depending upon the location in canada.Hope it helps.

I did my medical on Nov 17, but no PPR till now.
HARDOWE, did Buffalo ask you any additional docs?

My lawyer is in Toronto, Canada and i have no idea if it is west or south etc. When my lawyer send me any thing , it reaches to me in less than a week. Anyways , have no choice but to wait. thanks for your feedback guys.

i live in Tanzania now, it was delivered regular mail to my canadian address.Sent regular mail.
I had no arranged employmeny.
Additional docs asked for were proof of funds and copies of my degrees that I hadnt included.
By the way ecas still shows in process
