Can i send my passport through FEDEX ecause it is mentioned in their letter that if i send throug fedex i must provide reciepent account no........i could not understand this........can anybody help me with this......thanks

Well, I guess their talking about your account number with Fedex. The company my partner works in the US for, they have an account with UPS and if I need to send him any documentation from here, I call UPS and I give them the account number so I won´t have to pay for the delivery but my parner will.
So, if you have an account with Fedex, in order for Detroit to send you back the passport, you need to provide them with the account number so they can send it back to you.
I guess that´s what they mean, I could be wrong.

I´ve heard about that one, maybe that´s the one to go. Or I don´t know if Fedex has that same prepaid option.

´Me´ is right, that´s why I had to use USPS. I opted for the Express(overnight)....to-date it´s been 9 business days since Detroit got our passports....good luck Steve.

Joe i sent my passports through FEDEX today and i enclosed a prepaid envelope of USPS Express mail......I filled the mailing label but did not take my copy because its EMBASSY that is suppose to keep that copy right....How is it gonna happen. I affixed the postage stamp, filled up the aaddress label and enclosed the envelope with my Passport. Is it gonna work? I would appreciate your comments...Thnaks
