Hi guys,
I have a single entry visa. I also got my Landing documents (CPR) My question is can I use my single entry to get into Canada and fly out from there and on my return can I land in canada and use my landing visa.
Also is there any restriction that the port of entry should be the same as in the city given while applying. Meaning should i land closer to the city I chose to settle down.

Sorry I don´t have an answer to you question, but I would appreciate if you could share with us the following information:
Did you applied in the "spouse" category from outisde Canada? which consulate processed your immigraton? What´s your timeline?

I applied under the skilled worker categary.
Application received in NY August 2002
Received letter that Application moved to Detroit: December 2003
Medicals submitted on request: December 2003
My File number appeared on the detroit waitiing list: August 2004
Interview on October 2004
Interview was smooth with professional and very amicable interviewer. Couple of guys also had the same experience.
