Subject: Geting employed in the US
I would like to know whether Permanent Residents (Landed Immigrants) in Canada can be easily employed in the US? Are there some hurdles to be cleared first? I am most concerned with the required paper work. All contributions will be highly appreciated.

You need to get H1-B unless you are a citizen.

does that answer your question?

One last question! What is the relationship betweent H1-B and the Greencard?

H1-B is the first step towards getting your greencard (warning: very slow process)

greencard is synonymous to Canadian PR

US green card takes anywhere between 4-7 years now.. Mine is in process, but can´t wait to be in the same job for anohter 5 years to get my GC, so have decided to move on and actually move to Canada...

Brian,
Thanks for the advice. But honestly getting employed in Canada too is another ball game altogether.
