I have submitted my IELTS result to buffalo couple of weeks ago, can I send email to confirm whether they received document or not?

Of course you can send them email but I would wait for a little bit longer period. Maybe for a month.

Buffalo will most likely not answer specific queries, like telling you if the results are with them.
You can instead ask them a status on your file and they will let you know at what stage your file is.

Twice Buffalo has confirmed receipt of documents in my file. Once they faxed me back in response to my fax asking whether my medicals had been received. And once they answered my email saying they had my police certificates (I had ordered CAIPS notes and the notes indicated they were still waiting the for certificates which I had sent months previously)
So in my experience Buffalo may answer specific questions.
On the other hand, I´m one of the unfortunate "early 2006" club who still had heard nothing from Buffalo this year (I did my medicals in April 2004). About two weeks ago I sent an email inquiring as to status of my case. Other than the general email confirming receipt of my email, I´ve heard nothing and don´t think I will. So, I´m not sure which questions Buffalo will answer and which it will not. Perhaps it´s totally random.
