Thanks guys for the help. Yes, my case was tranferred from
Buffalo to NY last week. I got the IA within a week.
The documents requested are:
1) FBI
2) Proof of funds
3) Medicals
I did submit FBI before, but now they are requesting new once since
it is valid only for six months.
I also got the IELTS request in between.
I am actually very surprized at the speed at which I got the approval on
my application.
I now have to to book an appointment for medicals.

Same timeline, I got IA in Dec, they asked for:
Medical, W2, Paystubs, Proof of Funds. I wonder why a diff?

Sweet/Mamtha, as per advice from Kenny I submitted the last 5 year W2s and 4 recent paystubs with the IELTS results itself. To show my past experience I submitted either the offer letter or exprience letter or both. I did not submit experiece letter from my current employer because they can issue the same obly after one has left the company; I explained the same to CIC, guess they did understand it.

1. I sent bank statement showing the balance. No one asked for W2. I don´t know where W2 came from here. Can you guys further explain.
2. I also heared that sometimes they ask for bank statement balances for the last 3 months to make sure you are not lending the money, please comment on that if you have more information.
3. In my case they asked me for proof of funds with the initial application and then requested it again around the time they sent me the medicals request. Is that normal?? please comment

It is a good idea to submit W2 and pay stubs with your application because it strengthens your proof of employment in the US. The did not ask for it but I did because I did not want to face and interview; interviews are primarily conducted when they have to verify employment. It is normail to ask for FBI and proof of funds(Bank statment) again at the time of medicals, because they FBI is valid only for six months and they do want to know the latest financial position of the applicant.
Mamtha: If I were you, I would not submit the W2s if they don´t have enough earnings on them, why bell the cat. Worry about it only after you get a request for it and we can sure find a solution for that, just post here and we will sure give you a solution that will work, there is always a way out. good luck

do you think its a better idea to send my W2 & paystubs while i´m waiting for IA? or should i ignore it until being asked? I submitted all FBI, financial statement (stock option) and employement letter (and business card of the person signed). I also submitted the IELTS score. Please inform me guys. Thanks.
