Just send it. Dont wait for their request. If you are waiting for their formal request then you might be wasting another 2 months i think. RPRF is refundable if visa is refused, so why worry.

you should have paid the landing fee by now...but if you did not then they will ask you to pay when they will request your passport for visa......

Why pay when the Mission concerned has not yet asked for it. You will have your chance to pay when they have finalized your applicaiton and asked you to send your passprot (s.

well, my last 1 year´s blog reading experience says that waiting for RPRF request at this stage only delays the case by 2-3 months. And i dont understand that why are people scared to send the RPRF as its refundable and you have to pay it very soon after undergoing medicals. Here is the analysis -
1. You undergo medicals
2. Medicals are sent to CIC by the DMP and reaches CIC on 3rd or 4th day.
3. CIC´s officer forwads your medicals to concerned dept and looks at your file to determine what other formalities are left and finds that you havent paid RPRF yet.
4. He puts a comment in the system that request for RPRF should be sent
5. The office boy prints the list of people whom letters are to be sent and posts the letters in 10-15 days.
6. Letter reaches you on 20th day.
7. You arrange a DD and it takes alteast 2 days.
8. You send it and it reaches them on 3rd day after you post it. In the mean while CIC officer recieves the Medical clearance from the dept.
9. CIC officer receives it and sends DD for clearance.
10. Another 3-4 days before its cleared and confirmatin is recieved
11. CIC officer updates the system and sees if all formalities have been fulfilled. if yes then sends out the PPR.

Now if you send your RPRF immediately after undergoing medicals then it saves you atleast 1 month. Sorry if i was boring but thats how things work at CIC.
