HI everyone, thank you for replying to my query. Just one more question. From the reply to my previous question, i understand that if i land in BC i am covered medically immediatly. However, i have already landed in Toronto. Can i still go to BC and apply for the medical card and have my baby there or it is not possbile.
Secondly, since all hospitals take cash, would i need a family physician to refer me to the hospital, or it is possible to just walk into any walk in centre. Finally how do i find out what these hospitals charge for child birth becfore leaving the UK for Canada.
Thank you
Olu.

(in reply to: Baby in canada) You have to wait 3 months in BC - it´s Alberta that you get free healthcare immediately.
