Subject: question to administrator of the site
  dear sir,
I am planning to apply for immigration so i was going through the applicationform and processing time in service standards(skilled workerss and bussiness categaries).
i found that after we send the filled application form (as in the form of paper document),we will receive the acknowledgement and our file number in 2-3 months.it is said "the acknowledgement letter is sent to ur mailing address as soon as your file is created in our computer system."
and then our application is examined in detail to determine whether a personal interview is required.

my question here is
is there any possibulity that if our application is not examined untill the file number is created, the applicant can only create the application form directly on the computer system (also sending the application form in paper document as usual)to save the processing time

thanks for ur reply

very good question (in reply to: question to administrator of the site)
I have heard some talk about it... but so far CIC is still working out the kinks in the fully integrated data system (CIC offices and files are now connected to each other world wide). It makes total sense for applications to be done online but I think there are some logistics that still need to be worked out before they could impliment such a program. In the discussions I have heard the only benefit is cost savings to CIC.

time or money (in reply to: question to administrator of the site)
what I was hearing is that every document would still need to be looked at and scrutinized for accuracy and authenticity...so time savings would not really be a factor. Just what the Immigration expert was saying to the journalist who was asking the questions.
