Hi.
Got "the" letter the other day!!
I am a US citizen, applied under the spousal category.
Here is our timeline:
(all medicals/fingersprints/money,etc was all sent up front)
Paperwork recvd in Missassauga, Ontario office, Sept 26--sent onto Buffalo
Papers recvd by Buffalo office, Nov 3rd
Passport request, Feb 3rd
I am extremely stunned as to how fast this process went. For all of you who are applying under the family class category, all I can tell u, is that I sent TONS of information to them(phone bills, pictures, emails, letters from friends & family validating the relationship, etc etc). I felt it was better to send way more than requested, than not enough. Perhaps that helped???
Next, landing!!
Good luck to everyone!

(in reply to: Got it!! Sept 26th club....) Jacer, I so agree with you. There are times when over-communicating is much much better as it can save a lot of time back and forth. I do this exactly for all such bureaucratic processes and it does work wonders.
