I got my IA today!!!with interview waiver.
They asked for medicals and the fees.
my timeline is
applied jan2005
aor mar2005
Transfer 25 jan2006
IA Feb2006
Does anyone know how much time does it take from now to get immmigration.

Did they ask you for additional docs? What all docs did you submit at the time of ur application ?

Congrats Nizmun. Where did you apply from? I would think that it will take you another year to get your papers.

Applied Nov´ 04, AOR March 2nd ´05
IELTS req: Dec ´05
IELTS sent: Jan´05
Spouse Docs sent: Feb 4th ´05
When can I expect my IA ? any idea?
and one year from there to get PPR ?? huh !!!

It will def take about 1 year from your IA date. If you look at all of last year´s applicants, that is how long it is taking. Since IAs are taking longer this year, I would assume it´ll take longer for you to get your PPR as well.

i applied from buffalo and they havn´t asked me any additional doc.
i submitted transcripts,bank statements,...regular documents which should be sumbmitted while applying for immigration.
1 year from IA
isn´t tht long.................
i heard it takes 3-4 months.
i hope i get it soon.

Did file first got trasnfer and then IA came or both happened together ?
I got letter saying file has been moved to NY counsulate.

Hello there. I am wondering. My file was transffered to Seattle from Buffalo.
I am filing as self employed. I sent the financial obligations and everything was said to be okay by the Consultant but I do not trust them.
Since 2003 March, I have been waiting and waiting.
I do have American Green Card approved recently but would like a Canadian one.
Any reason why a file would be transffered????? The lady told me that is better news! How? She said a letter was sent saying, it is being determined if I will be required for interview or not. She said since I have been in the US for over eleven years and have established a good business, it might be good news. I am just not satsfied yet...anyone with experience explain please.
