Subject: Spouse or Skilled Worker???
Good day,
I´ll be very grateful if anybody reply to my question.
Is it better to apply as a spouse or u have more chances to get visa as a Skilled Worker. If u have any info proving your answer, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

But the spouse would also have to apply as a skilled worker, no?

Wait, what? OP - is your spouse a Canadian citizen? If so, it is much faster for them to sponsor you than for you to apply as skilled.

If you are both out of Canada and neither of you are PRs/citizens, you can do either (put together or apply separately) - I would think it´s better to apply together so that your application is processed as one and not lost somewhere as two separate ones. Do the points test on the CIC website to see if you need each other´s skills and points to qualify.

You can´t do that, mklmkl. Only one of the spouses can apply, certainly not combined. No way you can combine and add eachother´s points.

Yeah, but for adaptability:

Factor 6 ? Adaptability
(maximum 10 points)
You can receive a maximum of 10 points based on any combination of the elements listed below:

1. Accompanying Spouse / Common-Law Partner?s Education:
2. Principal Applicant or Spouse / Common-Law Partner has studied in Canada
3. Principal Applicant or Spouse / Common-Law Partner has worked in Canada
4. Principal Applicant has obtained points under Factor 5, Arranged Employment
5. Principal Applicant or Spouse / Common-Law Partner has family in Canada

So spouse does count...

Thanks for trying to help,
Let me clear up some things. My husband is the citizen of Canada. But i heard that i have more chances to get to Canada as Skilled worker. But after i saw the processing time, the Spouse process takes much less time...
