| Subject: How to find out if your file is being transferred |

Here?s a trick to finding out where your file is being transferred for those of you that applied in early 2005. I emailed Buffalo last week to find out where I should send my additional documents, since I had recently heard about all the transfers going on. They replied today saying that my file was in Detroit and I could send all my stuff there. Here?s my timeline:
Applied Mar 2005
AOR dated Mar 29, 2005
File Transfer Approx. Feb 2006

Hmm...interesting...
Do you think they told you that they transferred your file to Detroit only ´coz u mailed them about the status?
Well, I don´t know...but am in line waiting for my IA.
I am waiting to hear from them...hopefully I will get my IA soon....

I´m pretty sure they just told me because they didn´t want me to send my stuff to the wrong place. Usually they won´t tell you anything if you asked for an update on the processing of your file. They respond if you ask them nicely. Plus, I was expecting my file to be transferred sometime soon anyways. Just thought I would ask anyways.

Umm...okay...cool..!! I know it would really be a relief to know whatz going on.
May be I will wait for another 10 days and ask them an update on my file.
My timelines are :
Applied : Nov ´04
Ecase-- started Processing app: Feb 24th 2005
AOR: March2nd 2005
Ielts req: Dec´05
Ielts sent: Jan´05
Spouse docs sent: Feb 2nd ´05
Not sure, whether I can ask them an update now or wait for some more time and ask them an update, ´coz just last week I have sent them my husband´s docs.
