Hi Guys,
I had called ottawa office last friday to check status of my med reports and today they replied,
"One result has been reported and forwarded. The other should be following within the next couple of days. (medicals are processed as single units--not grouped together as families).Allow some time and then check with the consulate processing your application."
I have included my wife in my application just before my meds.
Pretty quick and to the point reply I guess!
I hope this helps to those who are waiting for their reply from Ottawa!

It´s normal. My medical was done on Nov 17 2005. Result was sent to Buffalo from Ottawa on Feb 2nd 2006. Roughly 2 months.

My timeline is:
App: OCT 2004
IA: OCT 2005, wife added in appl.
Med sent: Dec 2005
It is now thumb rule that it takes at least 2 months for the med reports to be sent to buffalo / any processing consulate.

From my frnds experience who had applied for immigration and have got it already, I can expect PPR within 30-45 days for sure. I am student, in-canada applicant. Hope same happens with you.

Sandeep- thanks, that was very helpful. Did you actually get to talk to someone, or was it an automated reply. I presume the number you called was 613 941 2170...?
My file is already in LA. Do the results have to go through Buffalo first, or are they sent directly...?

Hey SP,
The number I called was 613 946 1321. Somebody told me that. I eally dont know if LA has canadian embassy or not! But it goes to the main office where you applied. If your case has been transferred, then I guess ottawa office should have that info. But if you want to let them know that your file has been transferred, you may fax them at 613 941 5043, explaining your situation / any changes you received about transfer.

Thanks again, Sandeep. I´ll certainly keep those numbers safely. Will need to call a month from now as our meds reached Ottawa on Jan 10th [says DHL tracking]. We have our interview in LA in mid April. Fingers crossed that they´ll have the results by then.
Good luck - hope you get your PPR earlier than you expect!
