Subject: what to do with car registration
I´m moving to Canada from the U.S while waiting for my visa, so I´ll be there as a "visitor". What should I do with my car registration, leave it the way it is until I get my visa? Would I need to keep a U.S address in the meantime?

Yes, you should leave your car registration as it is because you are by no means "importing" your car into canada as you are just a visitor. You will need to show the registration papers of your car if and when you land with your car. Yes, you would need to keep your US address as you will be receiving your PPR at that address (unless you are going through an agent and you have given your agent´s address).

Taking the car into Canada involves quite a few steps. Please take a look at http://www.riv.ca.
