Hi everyone,
My timeline (Skilled Worker, Buffalo) is
Applied Mid March, 2005
AOR. 31th March, 2005
still waiting.. IA or Transfer letter
Now I?m in Canada as a graduate student and I did NOT write IELTS (but I attached a claim letter for my English ability including TOEFL score, English course Passing documents, and reference letter from my supervisor, etc.).
As well I did NOT get any IELTS request from Buffalo office.
(I?m not sure because I had moved once during this period.)
What do you thinking about it? It will affect any delay or decision making? Otherwise I just need to wait until my order. Feel scaring nowadays...
I wish everyone?s Good Luck!!
Thanks,

(in reply to: Is writing IELTS mandatory ??) make sure you get mail forwarding for your old address immediately.

(in reply to: Is writing IELTS mandatory ??) Answering your first question, given the documentation you have provided, that should be good enough for CIC as regards your proficiency in English. I dont think you should be worrying about IELTS at this stage.
Secondly, in addition to Sharon´s advise on mail forwarding, if I were in your place, I would do this - send a letter/fax/email to Buffalo stating that you have moved and wondering if you may have missed out on any correspondence from CIC. And then give your time-line.
Finally, a very basic question - have you updated your application with your new residence address. If not, you have your answers right there.

(in reply to: Is writing IELTS mandatory ??) Thank you very much for Sharon and PPRwait´s Answers.
I already updated my address before my moving (by E-client service) and also tried to get something from previous address but it was useless. My new address was on screen for some period but all of a sudden, it was changed into my old address. After that I faxed my address change request and at the same time I updated my address by E-client service. Now it´s working properly.
Thanks again,
