I had asked for the status of my file i had appled in Nov2003... this is what i got.

This means that you tried to ask them something before the maximum stipulated time frame got over. I mean, for e.g. CIC says that a certain task will take a maximum of 6 months and you can equire about the status only if 6 months have passed by.

I keep hearing that there is no timeline and one can be waiting from now to god knows when...?
