Hi All,
We received our passports with PR stamp with expire date in June. We are expecting a new baby in April and we didn´t inform CIC yet. My wife cannot travel now to land in CANADA. Here are my questions:
1) Can we able to add my child before landing?
2) What is procedure?
3) When we can inform CIC.
Please help us.

Hi rk,
1. Yes I believe.
2. Here are the list of things that you need to do/submit to add a child: (in April or so)
a) Certified copy of baby?s Birth Certificate;
b) Copy of Passport;
c) the second page of IMM0008;
d) Application fee
e) 4 photos
f) Cover letter informing CIC about the birth of the child of child. Do not forget to include your file number.
g) Additional Family information (IMM 5406) form
Is there any chance at all that you can land before giving birth? It will really be a lot simpler that way.
Anyway, it might be wiser to inform CIC now and see what they have to say.
