Does anyone have a reference to show how long should one´s passport be valid when it´s going to get stamped for PR?

most countries require your passport to have 6 or more months left on it. I myself would have at least 1 year!

Atleast 1 year from the date of Medicals. If it is less than a year the visa is issued till the expire of the passport or you have a new passport attached with the old one.
