Subject: OBTAINING CAIPS
  Hi everyone,
I have requested CAIPS for my husband´s file about 4 weeks ago and still haven´t received it. I was wondering if anyone knows how long doesn´t usually take to get it. And what should I do now? Send second request? May be some one can suggest what´s the best way to apply for CAIPS?
Thanks,
Romashka

I got my CAIPS notes in 5 weeks. I believe that the average time is 4-6 weeks. Dont worry just wait for a few days and you should get it.

By the way how did you apply for CAIPS notes?

Thanks everyone for your input.

I ordered CAIPS notes following the instructions below. It was posted by member Zeus. It has all necessary info. It seemed pretty selfexplanatory and easy. So send everything is about 4 weeks ago, ans still nothing.
I was wondering if you guys went different way to obtain these notes?

For those applicants who are already living in Canada, you can directly obtain CAIPS notes. Complete the form TBC 350-57 found here
http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/tbsf-fsct/dwnld/350-57_e.pdf

For the federal govt institution, write CIC. Next field provide your immigration file number and mention that you want to obtain CAIPS notes. Complete the rest of the form and along with a $5 money order mail to
