and I have one thing I wanted to know about what people here are talking about.
What is "IA"?

after this they will ask you to send the medicals, fbi, police certificate etc

Then you receive AOR (your file number, Acknowledgement of Receipt)
Then you wait 10 months to 2 years (depending upon where you are, and to which consulate you apply) for IA (initial Assessment)
Then interview or interview waiver,
Meds,
Additional documents
PPR (Passport request)
Landing
etc. etc. etc.

I was reading many threads but I couldn´t get what this abbreviation stood for!
Antonie, I was also questioning about AOR, so I really thank you!
I´m going to send APP in this MAY or June. I´m also the one who is really hoping that Conservative won´t raise the passmark before that...
