Hi everyone,
Im 24years old and Im from Manila Philippines (and a good citizen). I would like to work in Canada as skilled worker or anything like that, ive been browsing the internet and would also like to be an immigrant of canada and live there with my son whos 6years old. Im currently working as a sales executive for a real estate company and is currently the topseller, ive saved up alittle money to do this immigration thing for me and my son but i need to be sponsored by a company in canda,which is needed for me to pass the assessmenttest for immigration. how do i go about this with me here in manila...also is it possible for a company to sponsor me or just interview me over phone??!!are there agencies that can help me get a job in canada also if this would push through, i would like to bring my son with me and have no plans to leave him..im so clueless about these things..pls give me advise what to do to get a job in canada. i would appreciate it, thanks in advance!

Almost impossible to be sponsored when you´re outside Canada. There aren´t any agencies for this kind of thing because employers will only give jobs to people already here, mostly. You could try coming here on a visit to see what the market is like, but if you don´t have the money for that, network online by looking around in the kind of companies you work for and contact their HR departments to make contacts.
Have you taken the self assessment test? What´s your score? Suggest you look for other ways to boost it if it´s less than 67 - learn a bit of French, improve your English if it isn´t your first language, get a degree.

O Katrina it is like winning a super bumper jack pot getting a job offer for a non Canadian. Better you relax at Manila an apply for Permenant Residence under SW, after five years you may reach in Canada with your son. Good Luck...

Believe me nobody wishes to offer a job to somebody from a third world. Usually for canadian employers the education or experienc you have had abroad is out of their interest, no matter how successful you are ...
people might call me a freak but my suggestion for you would be asking you go to Chat/Cam sites in the internet where canadians chat and I am sure you can find a canadian man (usually go for ugly and old ones)Make everything to have him visit you and then sponsor you later, believe me this is the easiest way to come over to Canada...
The rest is waste of time and money especially from a poor country....
Sorry for your situation but of course if you have money (well if you were comfortable with money I do not think you would like to go abroad though) and time and believe that you can get 67 points in the initial assessment to be a prospective applicant for SW then go for it...

Well, Katrina I can tell you that getting a sponsor company is not very easy, unless your profession like a big scientist, surgeon or computer professional.
Hrsdc does not normally approve job offers for sales & marketing jobs, Best thing still would to apply at Manila under SW or try other options Australia/NZ

if you make a search on google for jobs or appartement you ll find thounsands of results and themost of them are scams
the best way is searching the classified in the national and most popular news papers here is a good directory
