For canadian immigration, do I need to obtain transcripts from my university in a sealed enveloper plus the degree or photocopy will do for all.

Hi Sha.
University transcripts are to be submitted as originals in a university-sealed envelope. As for the format of your degree, I suggest you refer to the visa-office specific guide - the document checklist should specify exactly what is required.
