Subject: proof of residency requirement |

I have sponsored my 14 months old daughter for immigration. Now I have received a letter from Canadian High Commission in Pakistan which asks to submit following documents to continue processing the application.
"OTHERS: PROOF OF RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT eg RECENT EMPLOYMENT LETTER, LEASE AGREEMENT, LATEST TELEPHONE BILL, RECENT BANK STATEMENT OF AT LEAST TWO MONTHS ETC."
What does that exactly mean? Such documents are normally not in the name of a 14 months old child. We the parents have a bank account in Canada and one here in Pakistan. should we send bank statements of these bank accounts? Would it suffice? Please advise us how to go about it. What documets would be appropriate. Also what is this proof of residency requirement.
I look forward for your early response please.

Very simple. (in reply to: proof of residency requirement) Where do you live? in Canada?
send them a copy of your lease, recent pay stub. a letter from employer that you work, a recent telephone bill.
problem is, PR cannot sponsor from outside of canaad. so they want to make sure that you are in Canada.
good luck
