Subject: Asylum rejected on US, want to apply SW Canada |

I applied for political asylum on US, I am really tired of the process and not so happy about American life style, some friends have been to Toronto and tell me that is a really nice city and people seem to be very friendly, anyways, I got a master degree from a good university last year and passed certifications, and I would like to apply for sw to Canada, but it seems that it would take longer than the time I´ve got on US.
My questions are:
Can I apply to sw and during the process be out of status on US?
Can I apply to political asylum from US?

(in reply to: Asylum rejected on US, want to apply SW Canada) no assylum from the US. you are already in a ´safe country´ so they would not accept your application on those grounds.

(in reply to: Asylum rejected on US, want to apply SW Canada) You need to have legal status and at least one year of US visa to apply at Buffalo, or u need to apply in your country of citizenship
