This is so stupid, it seems that we all are just waiting, just waiting, get one news from CIC and then we have to wait for months, I am not sure what is taken them so long to process appl. I know ppl who applied as SW from US back in 2003 and got PPR within 10 months. What has changed since then? I applied in Nov 04 as SW from US, did med in Dec 05 and it seems I am still long way away from getting my PPR....GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LISTEN TO US!!!!

I am listening! However, the precise reason why CIC is taking a long time is only because that is the only way left for me to ensure that you remember me.

Feb 03 : AOR
Jan 04 : IA. Addl documents/update requested. sent.
April 04 : more addl info requested. sent.
May 05 : file Xfr to LA
Nov 05 : interview call for April 06
Dec 05 : medicals, and latest PCCs
so
April 06 : interview, and ????
so far, 36 months....

there´s no time for sarcasm here, Linda. everyone´s tired of waiting blindly, not knowing what and when the next step will be - so by sharing our news/experience/time lines, others can gauge, more or less, what to expect. we benefit when people post proper information on the forum.
