| Subject: Sponsoring my brother |
I am landed immigrant in Canada since Oct 2005. I would be eligible for nationality in 3 years, are you guys aware of any change in rules effective Jan 01, 2006 wherein Landed Immigrants can sponsor their brothers, nephew, neice, parents? If yes, what are the conditions for it?

hey Salman the best thing is to get accurate information about sponsorship from the CIC offical site, this is their addy http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/sponsor/index.html I guess you can get detailed information there..

Why would there be any rule change? There´s already a hge backlog. Indeed, check CIC´s website, but I don´t think there´s anything new there.
