Why did it take you so long to do IELTS. Is it that test centers were booked?. Did CIC request it from you, or you took it just incase?

Hi Annie: I applied in Nov 04, AOR Mar 05. I got the IELTS request from Buffalo only in Dec 05 (13 months after I applied) and I took the test in Feb 06. It´s been a looong wait. I waited for about 2 months to get a seat for the IELTS. Now still waiting for IA. Hope this clears it up.

Thanks Candice for the info. You have really helped. My process has been on for 10 months now, so I guess I could get IELTS request anytime. I´m planning to register ASAP, cause the wait for a seat is at least three months were I am.
