I´ll be submitting my application for a PR visa soon, can we still visit our relatives while waiting for the decision? We were there last year and we still have a valid tourist visa.

Absolutely, Elke. I visited Canada even when my PR application was in progress. In fact, its a good sign. Shows you to be more comfortable adapting than any first-timers.
