| Subject: Passport Sending from India |

Till last year I was in US. Applied to Buffalo office in 2004 SW cat. Now I am back to India due to H1 expired. Last week recevied PP Request.
Please let me know how to send Passports to Buffalo from India? Because DHL is not offering return service from US to India. Is there any alternative ways?

Send passport with a friend coming into the US. Receive passport through a friend coming to India.

Please use your trusted fried to send it pp across. My friend did this, no porblems at all. You have to use a fried since it is not allowed to mail passports across coutry borders.Let me know if you need any more information.

Only DHL in India I belive does this.
Iam in the same situation. In my case Iam in the US and my case is being processed in India. I sent my passport to India for visa stamping, through a friend with a notarized authorization letter.
I was planning to have someone bring it back too. The passports havent been returned yet.But my father just got the information from DHL that they have the clearance from the ministry of external affairs to send passports overseas. He had asked many other courier services like Fedex etc and they refused. So do check DHL.
