Subject: Question about Change of Temp. address in Canada |
|
|
|
Dear All,
I am a landed parmanenet resident currently living in US. I plan to move to Canada later this year. The temporary address that I gave to the authorities is that of my friend, so that they could mail me the PR card. Now my friend is moving to a different address but in the same city.
How can I get my address updated with the authorities ?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
best regards

change of temp address, mail PR card (in reply to: Question about Change of Temp. address in Canada) The department of citizenship does not mail PR cards. You have to pick it up in person. Changing the temp address will make no difference.

Thanks (in reply to: Question about Change of Temp. address in Canada) Dear All,
Thanks for your answers! I was wondering besides having to go to post office if there was some other way to get the address changed ... like maybe some CIC website etc.
As far as Department of Citizenship not mailing PR cards ... i don´t know about that. Mine was mailed to my temp address.
Many thanks in advance for your help!
best regards
