Hi Everyone~!
I have some questions to you.
I am a Hungarian citizen and Canadian landed immigrant girl in Vancouver.
I have a Korean boyfriend, and we´d like to marry in winter 2006~2007.
My questions are:
Do i need to be over 18 years old to marry?
(or can i just get my parent´s signature for allowing me to marry?)
Will my boyfriend be able to get the Citizenship ,since i am becomming one soon. It might be after our marrige, therefore is it possible for us to marry?
If there is anything else important that i have to know before getting into a foreign marrige, can you infor me, please?

You did not mention your age but I assume it is below 18..correct? can you provide more information?
Second
My advice is to make sure you are going in the right direction and making the right decision...it is marriage not a joke. Make sure it is a marriage for love, though it is hard to judge, giving your very young age. From the immigration point of view, make sure it is not a marriage of convenience for immigration purposes. Sorry to be blunt but the CIC will grill this matter with both of you.

Yes...i´ll be 18 at the end of this year.
So i can ,right?
Well, of course i know what i am doing...
I think we love each other enough to marry...and even though it´s really too early to marry..i`ll be fine .
You still didn´t answer some of my questions~ :(
Please..if you know the answer..i´d appriciate that.

With regard to age of marriage and consent: you need to check with your province rules and the marriage Registry office. They will give you the right answer.
If you will be a citizen soon, it menas you are a PR of Canada. In this case you can apply to sponsor your hausband before being a citizen. Yes your husband can be granted PR of Canada based on your sponsorship to him. Later he can be a citizen. It all depends on the success of your sponsorship case.
