Subject: need help in filling out spousal forms
im sponsoring my wife and i just need some advice. she was denied a canadian visa(tourist) sometime this year. there is a part in the application form wherein they ask if she was convicted of any crime in canada and blah blah blah. there is one question wether she was denied of a canadian tourist visa or permanent residency visa. should she say "yes" or if she says "no" will they find it out anyways? thanks.

Write whatever is correct. In your case you have to say "yes" . They will for sure find it out that your wife was denied a tourist visa. Be truthful

good luck

Once someone applies to come to Canada by any means, a client id is created, the client id is a permanent number that does not change. My husband also applied for a visitor´s visa and was denied. After I sponsored him and I called CIC the agent told me that he has the same client id from his original application.

Manu, I think you said there is not where for your wife to but that she applied and was denied, please review the application form as there is definately a place for that infomation.
