im sponsoring my wife and i just need some advice. she was denied a canadian visa(tourist) sometime this year. there is a part in the application form wherein they ask if she was convicted of any crime in canada and blah blah blah. there is one question wether she was denied of a canadian tourist visa or permanent residency visa. should she say "yes" or if she says "no" will they find it out anyways? thanks.

(in reply to: need help in filling out spousal forms) Write whatever is correct. In your case you have to say "yes" . They will for sure find it out that your wife was denied a tourist visa. Be truthful
good luck

(in reply to: need help in filling out spousal forms) Once someone applies to come to Canada by any means, a client id is created, the client id is a permanent number that does not change. My husband also applied for a visitor´s visa and was denied. After I sponsored him and I called CIC the agent told me that he has the same client id from his original application.
Manu, I think you said there is not where for your wife to but that she applied and was denied, please review the application form as there is definately a place for that infomation.
