Subject: Hi -Work Experience
dear mates,
If a person works 60 hrs per week(with definite proof) , can a 9 months work experience be equated to 1 yr experience for CIC skilled worker application .
My logic says 1 yr experience =40 hr /week x 52 weeks = 60hr/week x 9 months .
Kindly advise
regards

I think 37hrs/week is the definition of full time work. Anything above 37hrs/week is counted as full time work and you need 1 yr continuous full time work experience to be eligible for Canadian PR. Doesn?t matter you work 60 or 80 hrs/ week.
Therefore in my opinion your 9 months work experience cannot be counted as 1yr.

This is my personal opinion; please wait for others to comments

I think the issue is clear, the requirement is stated in number of years and not hours, therefore they would do nothing, no sort of computation to convert equivalent hours to years
